The Non-Surgical Alternative to Back Pain Treatment

VAX-D is designed for patients who have been diagnosed with herniated, bulging, degenerative discs, and posterior facet syndrome.

What is VAX-D treatment?

VAX-D Treatment is designed to relieve pressure on structures that may be causing low back pain.  It relieves the pain associated with herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, posterior facet syndrome and radicular pain.

VAX-D achieves its effects through decompression of intervertebral discs and facet joints, that is, unloading due to distraction and positioning on the VAX-D table.

This breakthrough was developed by Dr. Allan Dyer, former Deputy Minister of Health who pioneered research on the heart defibrillator used around the world.  Research to develop the treatment was conducted over a period of six years with the combined efforts of physicians, engineers, and technicians at major teaching hospitals.

Can VAX-D work for you?

Many people with diagnoses of lower back pain and radicular pain experience relief of their pain. Our trained practitioner will determine your course of treatment and whether or not you are a candidate.

Patients with certain conditions such as tumors, fractures, gross osteoporosis or pars defects are not candidates for this treatment.

VAX-D treatments consist of sessions of 30-45 minutes each on the VAX-D Table.

About VAX-D

All treatments are administered with patients fully clothed.  However, two-piece clothing, that separates at the waist and can be loosened at the wrists, is most comfortable.
